Jacob was born in Alexandria, Louisiana, and raised in Lafayette. As a twin with older triplet siblings, he has always valued the importance of family in his life. After graduating from Teurlings Catholic High School, he moved with his family to Lake Charles, where he attended McNeese State University. At McNeese, Jacob earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a concentration in Financial Services, graduating with honors.
During college, Jacob developed a strong interest in investing and financial planning through his coursework. Drawing on his experience in both banking and hospitality management, he realized that a career in personal finance would allow him to combine his skills and passions with his desire to build meaningful relationships and help others.
Jacob’s journey to FMP began through a connection made in his parents’ Domestic Church group. After learning more about the firm, he completed an internship that confirmed FMP’s culture and team were the perfect fit. Upon completing the program, he accepted a full-time role as a Client Relationship Manager—an opportunity that allows him to remain close to his family in the city he loves.
