Les was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana and raised in Austin, Texas.
In 1998, Les graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Management Information Systems. Les obtained his Certified Financial Planner™ certification and fulfilled the other requirements to earn the CFP® designation in 2009.
Les began his career with FMP in 1998 with his focus being primarily on the improvement of the technology of the firm and providing operational support. In 2011, Les moved into his current position, Director of Investments & Research, and currently serves as the head of the Investment Committee and Asset Selection Committee. Les became an FMP Shareholder in 2011 as well.
Les and his wife Ashley live in Austin, Texas with their two children, daughter Avery born in 2005, and son Davis born in 2008. They consider their membership and service to their church as an integral part of their lives where they both serve in active leadership roles in the children’s ministry. Outside of his work, Les enjoys spending time with his family, local lake activities and is an avid Baylor sports fan.
