Dan Frick, born in 1984, grew up in Dallas, Texas. After graduating high school in Dallas, Dan attended Loyola University New Orleans. In 2007, he graduated from Loyola, Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a double major in Finance and International Business. At graduation he was presented with The World Trade Center Outstanding International Business Graduate award.
After graduating from Loyola in 2007, Dan began his career in the financial services industry at Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management in Houston. Dan was a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, where he was responsible for providing investment recommendations to high net worth individuals. In 2012, Dan joined the Lake Charles office of FMP as a financial advisor. At FMP, Dan works directly with clients and takes an active role in financial planning and portfolio management.
Dan obtained the Certified Financial Planner™ designation in 2011. In 2014, Dan was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation. Amid an industry of countless investment credentials, the CFA charter stands out as the “gold standard,” according to the magazine The Economist.
Dan presents frequently to civic organizations, physicians, accountants, and attorneys on financial planning and retirement planning topics in Lake Charles.
Dan married his beautiful high school sweetheart, Jennie, in 2012, and they now have three children together. As a couple, Dan and Jennie are active in their local church. Of their time commitments, Dan and Jennie consider helping others most important. In addition, Dan has served as a tutor in mathematics, reading, and Spanish (Dan speaks fluent Spanish) to “at risk” high school students.
