Born and raised in Dallas, Texas.
Sharon attended Texas A&M University and studied Accounting for 3 years before marrying Mark Benson. Sharon moved to Austin and finished her B.B.A. in Accounting from Southwest Texas State University.
Sharon joined FMP in 2003 to implement new financial planning software, before transitioning to FMP’s accounting department in 2005. Sharon has been integral in the streamlining of business transactions between FMP and its clients.
Sharon and Mark raised three children in Austin, whom all proudly became Aggies. Sharon and Mark are active in their church, having served as 10th Grade Sunday School Directors and Chapel Choir Sponsors for over 30 years. They both love to travel, especially in Europe. Paris, France holds a dear place in Sharon’s heart.
